Breathe the air of the real world instead of the lecture hall. Have your say instead of just listening. Even while you’re still studying, we offer you the chance to gain initial experience in the business world. Either as an intern or as a working student. And it doesn’t end there: If you like, you can even complete your degree with OGE by writing your thesis with us.
Are you looking for an internship?
Would you like to find out which job suits you? Or have you already gained some internship experience and hope to consolidate what you’ve learnt? At OGE, you can do an internship while you’re still studying: either with a business focus at our administrative locations in Essen, e.g. in Purchasing, Human Resources or IT, or in a technical field at one of our 40 operating sites and compressor stations throughout Germany.
Be sure to state in your application your preferred time period for the internship, which field you want to work in and your preferred department. We will then select a suitable department and location for you.
Think about sending your online application as early as possible. We need to have it at least eight weeks before your desired start date.
Become a working student
Would you like to gain experience before you start your job and earn money alongside your studies, and is your degree related to one of the areas we work in?
As a working student at OGE, you will gain practical experience right from the very first semester of your studies and get valuable insights into our corporate world and the day-to-day business of an energy company.
You work for up to 20 hours per week in one specialist department, where you will actively support your team in everyday business and take on independent tasks and projects.
Final thesis: Research your topic at OGE
So you’ve excelled during your studies and now you’re about to complete your bachelor’s or master’s degree? Would you like to round off your studies with an exciting and practically oriented thesis? We can help you do that too.
Perhaps you’ve already discovered an exciting topic in a particular specialist area during an internship or as a working student at OGE. Tell us more about it — and together we’ll develop the topic for your thesis.
